4 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) were transferred from the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LDLD) to the Vietnam Health Trade Union for direct management, including: Ho Chi Minh City Drug Testing Institute Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh City Malaria - Parasitology - insect Trade Union, Da Nang Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital Trade Union, Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Trade Union - Supporting children and People with Disabilities.
Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thanh Binh - Chairman of the Vietnam Health Trade Union sincerely thanked the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation for its coordination and support in the transfer process.
Ms. Pham Thanh Binh affirmed: "Receiving two units for professional activities is not only in line with the orientation of the trade union organization, but also opens up many opportunities for units to exchange, learn, and develop together in trade union and professional activities".
The Chairman of the Vietnam Health Trade Union emphasized that receiving grassroots trade unions demonstrates the proactiveness and responsibility of the Vietnam Health Trade Union towards units under the Ministry of Health; committed that the Vietnam Health Trade Union will create all conditions for grassroots trade unions to quickly stabilize their operations, ensure the rights of union members and workers, continue to promote the spirit of creativity and enthusiasm of the trade union organization, contribute an important role to ensure the stability and development of the unit, coordinate well with the authorities at the same level, implement the direction of the Party Committee to contribute to the completion of the political tasks of the industry assigned by the Ministry of Health.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Health Trade Union also requested that the grassroots trade unions maintain contact with the local trade unions and introduce to the newly received grassroots trade unions typical activities that have been and are being implemented by the Vietnam Health Trade Union such as: Campaign to compose Typical songs of the health sector, activities to celebrate the Patriotic Emulation Congress, summarizing 10 years of the movement "Good at public work - good at home work"...
The Vietnam Health Trade Union will continue to review the coordination regulations with the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, will always accompany, listen, and collect opinions and recommendations from units under the Vietnam Health Trade Union and health units located in Ho Chi Minh City to promptly propose to competent authorities to promote strengths, not only care for the lives but also protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
On behalf of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Phung Thai Quang acknowledged that the grassroots unions in the past have contributed many activities to the City Labor Federation and congratulated the 4 grassroots unions for officially joining their industry union activities, being able to participate in union activities more deeply, closer to bring more benefits to union members and contributing to the completion of the unit's political tasks.
The Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation highly appreciated the close coordination between the two agencies in the transfer and acceptance process, helping grassroots unions have more conditions to promote their role, continue to accompany workers, and contribute to the development of the health sector.
