On July 31, the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) organized an announcement of the decision to establish the grassroots trade union of Bibliogem Vietnam Sports hang Co., Ltd. in Phuc Khanh Industrial Park. This is a step to perfect the Trade Union organization in foreign-invested enterprises in the area.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan - Member of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Inspection Committee - announced the decision to establish the grassroots trade union of Bibliogem Vietnam Sports hang Co., Ltd., and recognized 147 union members and the provisional Executive Committee of 3 comrades.
Grassroots trade unions under the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor are allowed to use their own seal, open a bank account and fully exercise their rights and responsibilities according to the provisions of law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Thang - Vice President of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged the initiative and active coordination of the company in establishing the Trade Union organization. Ms. Thang suggested that the Provisional Executive Committee quickly stabilize the organization, clearly assign people and work to effectively implement union activities.
At the same time, proactively represent and protect the legitimate rights of workers through negotiating and signing Collective Labor Agreements, developing appropriate internal regulations and labor regulations.
In addition, the Trade Union organization needs to promote its role as a bridge between employees and the Board of Directors of the company, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members to propose and propose solutions to protect collective rights. Building a safety and hygiene network and promoting initiatives to improve working conditions are also emphasized as one of the contents that need to be prioritized.
