Signing a cooperation agreement to improve the welfare of union members and workers in the health sector

The Vietnam Health Trade Union has just signed an additional cooperation agreement on the welfare program for union members and workers in the industry.

The Vietnam Health Trade Union (VTC) and International Science and Technology Application Company Limited have just held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement on a welfare program for union members and workers in the health sector.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen - Deputy Minister of Health; Ms. Pham Thanh Binh - President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union; Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Vice President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen highly appreciated the cooperation initiative between the Vietnam Health Trade Union and enterprises in implementing practical welfare models for union members in the health sector.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that in the context of the medical sector facing many pressures, a large workload and many difficulties in the lives of medical staff, caring for and comprehensively caring for both material and spiritual aspects and social security policies for medical staff is an urgent task, with profound humanitarian significance.

Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen affirmed that the signed cooperation agreement not only opens up an effective support channel for union members, but also demonstrates the proactiveness, creativity and responsibility of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ministry of Health to concretize the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ministry of Health on caring for the lives of workers in the health sector.

The Deputy Minister suggested that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor continue to promote its role as a trust bridge between union members and businesses, so that welfare policies reach the right subjects; at the same time, requesting that unions at all levels innovate their methods of operation, expand more sustainable and diverse welfare models so that union members in the medical sector "receive clear benefits - receive timely support - and receive practical protection".

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Pham Thanh Binh, President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union, affirmed that the signing of the Cooperation Agreement is a step to concretize Resolution No. 07/NQ-BCH dated August 29, 2024 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, demonstrating the determination to innovate the method of caring for union members in the direction of "S real - effective".

The agreement aims to bring practical incentive packages, indirectly increasing income and improving the lives of union members and workers in the health sector; at the same time, demonstrating the spirit of companionship and sharing the social responsibility of the enterprise with the team of doctors - those who are taking care of people's health day and night.

Ms. Pham Thanh Binh emphasized that with the motto "healthy doctors - healthy people", the Vietnam Health Trade Union will play a coordinating role, improving welfare and social security for union members; at the same time, it is recommended that grassroots unions implement the welfare program synchronously, soon bringing it to a large number of union members, promoting real efficiency.

According to the agreement, medical facilities, union members, and workers under the Vietnam Health Trade Union will enjoy a 50% discount package when using products of International Science and Technology Application Company Limited when logging into the website Smarta.net.vn, along with a free shipping policy nationwide.

Mr. Ha Van Nam - Director of International Science and Technology Application Company Limited expressed his honor to accompany the Vietnam Health Trade Union - to organize a representative for the team of doctors who are taking care of people's health day and night.
