The ceremony was held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day to recognize and honor the achievements of the competition, while spreading the humanistic values of the health sector.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Pham Thanh Binh, President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, said that after more than 5 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has received nearly 200 entries in both the following categories: Song Composition and Song Performance.
The works are not only full of art but also contain meaningful messages about the dedication, compassion and sacrifice of the Doctor; at the same time, they demonstrate the creative talent and deep, sincere affection of musicians, artists, actors... for the health sector.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, Ms. Pham Thanh Binh expressed her deep gratitude to the musicians, artists, authors, union members and all media agencies that have accompanied the Vietnam Health Trade Union and the coordinating units throughout the contest organization journey. Those contributions are extremely valuable, not only for the success of the competition but also for the development, preservation and enhancement of the image and position of the Doctor in particular and the health sector in general in the hearts of the public.
Attending and giving a speech at the Award Ceremony, Deputy Minister Tran Van Thuan highly appreciated the initiative of the Vietnam Health Trade Union in coordinating with the Vietnam Musicians Association, VTV3 successfully organized the Contest to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day - a very important and meaningful milestone for union members and workers in the whole industry.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the contest is not only an artistic playground but also a spiritual gift, helping cadres and union members in the health sector to love their profession and be proud of their noble mission. Thereby, not only honoring but also creating a bridge between art and the health sector, connecting hearts passionate about art with people who are day and night contributing to the cause of caring for and protecting people's health.
Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan affirmed that the works and awards awarded are not only an honor for the authors and units, but also a source of pride for the health sector. The Deputy Minister also hopes that the musical works honored at the ceremony will continue to be a bridge connecting and spreading the noble message about the Vietnamese health sector to all people across the country.
At the Award Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 10 Encouragement Prizes to 16 winning performances in the Song Performance category and 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 5 Third Prizes, 7 Encouragement Prizes and 5 Special Prizes to 20 winning songs in the Song Composition category. The total prize value of the Contest in both events mentioned above is 770 million VND.
At the award ceremony, some award-winning performances at the competition were introduced to a large number of delegates attending the ceremony, bringing a joyful, exciting atmosphere and leaving a deep impression, contributing to highlighting the spirit of dedication and silent sacrifice of the medical staff.
