On January 15, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province informed that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee signed a document urging units to implement the bonus regime according to the provisions of Decree No. 73/2024/ND-CP of the Government (referred to as Decree 73).
Previously, on December 20, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 3181/QD-UBND (referred to as Decision 3181) on authorizing the issuance of bonus regulations for agencies and units.
However, through review, some agencies and units have not yet implemented Decision No. 3181 of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to urgently issue bonus regulations according to Decree 73 (based on Decision 3181 - PV). Thereby, ensuring the rights of cadres, civil servants and workers.
The Department of Finance reviews, synthesizes and reports on advising the Provincial People's Committee to arrange funds for units to implement Decree 73. This process will be completed on January 20, 2025.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on June 30, 2024, the Government issued Decree 73/2024/ND-CP stipulating the basic salary and bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces.
By early January 2025, the deadline for paying bonuses in 2024 according to Decree 73 was about to expire, but some districts in the province had not yet finalized a plan for teachers.
The leader of the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance admitted that Decree 73 will take effect from July 2024, but the implementation by relevant sectors and levels is slow. This process has shortcomings from many units. Without a bonus regulation, the department cannot disburse funds.
