On January 15, the leader of Dak Lak Department of Finance informed that regarding the implementation of bonus payment according to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the unit has received a proposal for additional funding from the Department of Education and Training.
"We are racing against time to ensure funding for spending according to Decree 73 in January 2025. This process is being implemented late, however, the authorities must make efforts to ensure the regime for teachers and workers" - the leader of the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance shared more.
Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Director of the Department of Education and Training confirmed that the unit has sent a document requesting the Department of Finance to provide additional funding in 2024 to pay for rewards according to Decree 73 for affiliated public service units.
The Department proposed to provide an additional 33 billion VND for more than 5,000 managers, teachers, and staff of high schools and affiliated units.
The Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province has also issued a document requesting agencies, units and localities to urgently implement the issuance of bonus regulations according to Decree 73 and report the implementation results before January 20.
For example, this week the People's Committee of Krong Nang district approved spending 9 billion VND to reward beneficiaries in Decree 73.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on June 30, 2024, the Government issued Decree 73/2024/ND-CP (referred to as Decree 73) regulating the basic salary and bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces.
By early January 2025, the deadline for paying bonuses in 2024 according to Decree 73 was about to expire, but some districts in the province had not yet finalized a plan for teachers.
Leaders of Dak Lak Department of Finance acknowledged that Decree 73 took effect in July, 2024, but related branches and levels were implemented slowly.
