Halloween is an occasion to decorate and refresh the living space in the family. One of the familiar symbols of this holiday is the beautiful and impressive pumpkins. Accordingly, housewives can be creative in making pumpkins from paper to decorate their house in a different way.
To make pumpkins out of paper, housewives need to prepare materials including: colored paper (choose orange or white, yellow), scissors, twisted steel wire or green zinc wire to shape the leaves and stems, pencil and ruler to measure the size, glue or stapler...
Start by cutting the paper into long strips that are about 2 to 3cm wide. Each strip can be 20 to 30cm long, depending on the desired size of the pumpkin. You will need about 8 to 10 strips per pumpkin to create a nice puffy look.
After cutting the strips, stack them on top of each other to form a star shape. Use staples or glue to secure the strips in the center. Next, bend each strip so that it forms a round pumpkin shape. Secure the ends of the strips by staple or glueing them together at the top of the pumpkin.
Use twisted wire or galvanized wire to make the stem and leaves of the pumpkin. Wrap the wire around a pencil to create even loops and then attach them to the top of the pumpkin. This will give the pumpkin a natural, dynamic look.
After completing the above steps, you can decorate with some other details such as drawing patterns on the pumpkin or adding some small accessories to make it eye-catching to display at home.
