The combination of the richness of potatoes and the fatty aroma of bacon will create an attractive dish to enjoy on the weekend. This dish is also quickly prepared in an air fryer, helping to reduce the constipation.
To make bacon potatoes, housewives need to prepare 3 - 4 yellow potato leaves (about 500gr); 150gr bacon; 15ml olive oil; 10gr parmesan cheese; garlic powder; paprika chili powder; dried rosemary leaves and some other basic spices.
Next, processing the potatoes when peeled, washed and cut into bite-sized squares (about 2cm). Housewives should not forget to soak the chopped potatoes in a bowl of diluted salt water for about 15 minutes, then remove and let the water drain completely to help the potatoes not get darkened. Next, boil the potatoes for about 5 - 7 minutes until the potatoes are slightly soft so that when baked, they will be as thick as the bowl.
Add the drained potatoes to a large bowl, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil with a little salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika chili powder and dried rosemary leaves. Stir the spices and coat oil in a thin layer around each potato.
Add the chopped bacon to the potato bowl and mix well. The fat from bacon when flowing out will help potatoes become fatter and more delicious.
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for about 5 minutes. All the potato and bacon mixture is steamed in a pot, avoid stacking them overlapping to ensure hot air can circulate effectively.
Bake first at 180°C for about 10 minutes. Then, open the pot and use a chopsticks and continue to grill it a second time at a temperature of 190°C for about 8 - 10 minutes so that the potatoes with crispy golden brown and bacon are caught, sliced next to it is a basic dish to enjoy.
