As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the night of October 28, a large amount of old soil and rocks on the positive slope collapsed into D'ran Pass, a section in the Cau Treo area, obstructing traffic.

Due to the complex geology of the landslide area, the authorities blocked off the scene, prohibiting people and vehicles from traveling in both directions to ensure safety.

Accordingly, on October 30, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province coordinated with relevant units to divert traffic and adjust the route so that people could avoid landslides.

On the other afternoon, vehicles from Da Lat to Khanh Hoa follow National Highway 20 down to Prenn Pass, reach Phi Nom intersection and turn left onto National Highway 27 to return to Khanh Hoa.

The flowing time started at 4:00 p.m. on October 30, lasting until the landslide site of D'ran Pass was repaired and the landslides and subsidence were completed.

D'ran Pass, 10km long with many dangerous curves, is a vital route connecting Da Lat with Song Pha Pass on National Highway 27, forming the Da Lat - Phan Rang (Khanh Hoa) route.
