Quang Tri - Heavy rain caused National Highway 1 through Quang Trach commune to be deeply flooded, the traffic police force had to divert traffic and warn of danger to people and vehicles.

On the morning of October 31, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police said that heavy rain caused many sections of National Highway 1 through Quang Trach Commune to be deeply flooded, making it difficult for vehicles to travel.

According to records, rising water in some low-lying areas made it difficult for cars and motorbikes to move, many vehicles had to turn around to find another direction. Traffic police were present early, put up warning signs and organized traffic flow, instructing vehicles to travel safely.

Currently, by 10:00 on October 31, heavy trucks such as containers, trucks, and passenger cars can still move through the area, but they need to reduce speed and observe carefully to avoid incidents.

The Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police recommends that people, especially private drivers, should proactively choose alternative routes through bypasses or highways, limiting travel through flooded sections to ensure safety for people and vehicles.

The authorities are coordinating with local authorities to monitor the flood situation, arrange forces to be on duty at deeply flooded areas, and be ready to support people when necessary.
