Madam Pang's husband is Police Colonel - Dr. Narat Sawettanan, born in 1960. He is the only son of Police Major General Nitat Sawettanan and Associate Professor, Dr. Amornrat Sawettanan.
Mr. Narat is also the nephew of Police Lieutenant Colonel Charung Sawettanan.
After graduating from Srinakharinwirot University, he followed his family members and took the entrance exam for the 20th class of the Armed Forces Academy Preparatory School. Thanks to his excellent performance, Madam Pang's husband was appointed as a student leader and selected for the 36th class of the Royal Thai Police Academy.
Mr. Narat Sawettanan started working as Deputy Chief of Police Investigation Division - Phra Nakhon Police Department for 2 years. After that, he continued to study for a Master of Public Administration at the University of Kentucky (USA) and a PhD in Criminology at the University of Florida (USA).
Colonel, born in 1960, served at the Royal Thai Police Office from 1983 to 2003. From a duty officer, he was promoted step by step and became Deputy Commander of Police Region 1.
Dr. Narat Sawettanan then moved to the position of Deputy Commander of Crime Prevention of Chonburi Provincial Police Station and was appointed Director of the International Police Department, Diplomatic Division.
In 2003, Colonel Narat Sawettanan was transferred to the Special Investigation Department and held many important positions. Next, Madam Pang's husband took up the position of Inspector General of the Ministry of Justice.
In late 2012, Mr. Narat Sawettanan held the position of Director General of the Protection of Rights and Freedoms - Ministry of Justice.
