Among fruits, pomegranate is considered a "fairy" because it contains many vitamins and minerals that are very good for health and beauty, especially human skin. However, many of us are still afraid to eat pomegranate because it takes a lot of time to separate the shells and seeds to enjoy.
Separate pomegranate seeds by cutting the fruit head
When buying pomegranate, wash all the dirt from the outside, drain the water with a knife to cut the fruit head, the knife stain should not be too deep, about 0.5cm is enough, to avoid cutting the meat inside.
Use a slightly peeled knife to remove the head, pruning the lining of the pomegranate meat, to reveal the grooves separating the pomegranate bags.
Place the knife point at the end of the ditches, carving a long way from the beginning to the end of the pomegranate fruit. Do the same at all ditches. The cut should be about 1cm or more deep depending on the thickness of the skin.
You can easily use your hands to separate the pomegranate bags based on the knives that have just been drained on the trunk. The pomegranate meat inside was separated without being crushed or leaking.
Separate pomegranate seeds by cutting the fruit in half
Use a knife to cut the pomegranate fruit in half vertically, cut 0.5 - 1cm deep, depending on the thickness of the fruit peel. At this time, you can use your hands to separate the pomegranate.
Squeeze 1/2 of the pomegranate into the water, continuing to separate into smaller bags. Do the same for the remaining 1/2 pomegranate.
After soaking in water for about 2 - 3 minutes, gently separate each pomegranate grain from the shell, the separated pomegranate grain will quickly sink to the bottom of the bowl, the remaining shell will float onto the water surface.
Finally, just remove the shell and pour the water to get the whole sweet grain.
