The Binh Thuan Urban Environment and Services Joint Stock Company's grassroots union is under the Phan Thiet City Labor Federation, Binh Thuan. This is an enterprise operating in production, business, and public services in the city in many fields with more than 380 employees.
The working environment of the workers here is characterized by heavy, toxic and dangerous work. To ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the workers, the grassroots trade union has coordinated with the company's leadership to implement many contents.
Sharing with reporters, Mr. Le Thanh Hoang - Chairman of the company's grassroots trade union - said that he has implemented and supervised the implementation of the Collective Labor Agreement, made recommendations on improving material and spiritual life, working conditions, periodic health check-ups, measuring the impact of the working environment and focusing on occupational safety and hygiene, and providing protective equipment for workers.
Labor relations issues such as signing, amending, supplementing, and terminating labor contracts in accordance with the law; developing and implementing salary and bonus regimes are strictly implemented in accordance with regulations. The grassroots trade union has also worked with the enterprise to draft documents on labor regulations and internal regulations to ensure compliance with regulations.
During the year, the unit also organized regular dialogues and coordinated the organization of the Conference of Labor Delegates to disseminate the Resolution of the Conference of Labor Delegates to all employees. Thereby, it also discussed the salary fund, bonuses and the establishment and use of reward funds and welfare funds during the year for employees. The implementation of the content of the Collective Labor Agreement on job security, labor contracts, working hours and rest time was also monitored.
Through the coordination of implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulations in enterprises, employees are inspected and supervised so that enterprises can promptly overcome shortcomings and deficiencies. Employees are also able to participate effectively in professional, union and social activities, fully exercising their rights and obligations towards the enterprise. This creates a harmonious and stable relationship between employers and employees in the enterprise.
The business side has shown responsibility in implementing grassroots democracy regulations, publicly and transparently disclosing production, business and financial results... so that workers can know, participate in inspection, supervision and criticism.
