According to the Department of Statistics of Yen Bai province, after the Lunar New Year holiday, the labor market quickly became vibrant again. In February 2025, this mountainous locality created jobs for 1,899 workers.
Of which, 766 people have jobs through socio-economic development programs, 361 people borrow capital from the National Employment settlement Fund to start a business, 46 people go to work abroad mainly to Japan and Korea and 726 workers are provided to other provinces.
By the end of February 2025, the total number of newly employed workers in the area reached 2,872 people. Labor export continues to be an effective job creation channel for 107 people working in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.
In addition, wood processing, textile and food processing enterprises are in high demand for recruitment, creating more job opportunities for local workers.
