According to the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF), in the third quarter of 2025, Vinh Long province's trade unions at all levels enthusiastically organized many activities to celebrate major national holidays.
Notable activities are the activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).
The Provincial Federation of Labor held a solemn and affectionate meeting. The meeting was attended by leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, provincial leaders and trade union officials from different periods.
On this occasion, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor presented 320 gifts. The total cost of this activity is nearly 230 million VND.
The grassroots trade unions have organized many meaningful activities. The Trade Union of The Gioi Viet Company Limited presented 2 hardship allowances to union members. The Trade Union of Unihwasin Vina Co., Ltd. presented gifts to 148 union members and workers. The Trade Union of Min Wie Vietnam Co., Ltd. also presented gifts to 219 union members.
In addition, the Trade Unions have also organized many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). These activities have a total cost of up to billions of VND.
The Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor also attended a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution organized by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
At the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor was honored to be awarded by the Propaganda Department and the Central Committee for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
This is a worthy recognition, affirming the efforts of the provincial trade union organization in proactively implementing patriotic emulation movements, contributing to spreading the spirit of responsibility and solidarity among union members and workers.
