On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, Hai Phong Urban Environment Company Limited mobilized 100% of its workforce, with about 1,500 workers, working continuously throughout Tet.
On the 29th of Tet alone, the volume of garbage is expected to "peak" and increase 3 times compared to normal days. All staff will be mobilized to work overtime until the garbage is gone. To ensure that no incidents occur during transportation when the amount of garbage suddenly increases, the company proactively maintains all specialized vehicles, develops a reasonable vehicle operation process, does not overlap, rotates vehicles quickly, ensures convenient garbage transportation, and changes transportation routes when there is a traffic jam.
To ensure environmental sanitation and city beauty during the Lunar New Year, the Urban Environment Company Limited has developed a specific plan with the criteria of collecting garbage as it arises and completing it within the day, not leaving it behind; organizing the collection of all household waste, bulky waste... not leaving it overnight; promptly releasing garbage at all locations where the spring flower market is held...
In order to encourage and take care of employees during Tet, the company pays the 13th month salary along with many meaningful and practical Tet gifts so that workers and laborers can work with peace of mind. Recently, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation and the central delegation visited, encouraged, and presented more than 40 gifts worth 1,300,000 VND each to environmental workers in difficult circumstances.
