In the period 2023-2025, the Vietnam Education Union (CDGD) directed trade union levels to coordinate in training and fostering officials, teachers, and employees (CBNGNLD) to improve professional qualifications, management capacity, school governance, teaching methods; digital transformation, application of information technology; implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, innovation technology and national digital transformation associated with the continued implementation of Plan 103/KH-CDN dated April 2, 2019 of the Vietnam Education Union on "Improving pedagogical conduct capacity, teacher ethics to meet task requirements in the new situation", the "Happy School" movement and the Program "Promoting lifelong learning activities among workers in enterprises to 2030".
Accordingly, trade union levels have mobilized officials, civil servants, and laborers to actively participate in improving professional capacity, meeting the requirements of school autonomy and digital transformation in schools and the 2018 Education Development Program. Promoting scientific research and technology transfer to meet the requirements of innovation, the Education Union participated in the exhibition "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Achieve" in 2025 with 11 scientific products; 2 initiatives were awarded the Creative Labor Medal of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
CDGD also proposed regimes and policies to support and create conditions for CBNGNLD to improve their qualifications and capacity, encourage self-study and self-research; apply information technology in management and teaching. In the period 2023-2025, nearly 13,000 turns of CBNGNLD were trained to improve their professional qualifications, professional skills, political theory, foreign languages, informatics...
The Education Union coordinates to organize activities to improve the quality of teaching and scientific research. Many units actively support officials, civil servants, and laborers to complete topics; propose mechanisms to support, reward, and encourage teachers and scientists with topics and effective application initiatives, with articles published in prestigious international journals... In general, in the period 2023-2025, the Education Union had 1,572 recognized scientific topics and initiatives of officials, civil servants, and laborers; 517 innovative products were effectively applied.
