The 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, was held with the participation of 200 official delegates, who are exemplary union members, representing more than 91,000 union members in the whole province.
The Congress was convene on the basis of the consensus of the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The Congress will evaluate the results of Trade Union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in Khanh Hoa province in the period of 2023 - 2025; at the same time, determine the direction, key tasks and solutions in the 2025 - 2030 term.
At the first working session, delegates discussed and gave comments on the Draft Documents of the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress.
Focus on evaluating the results of the implementation of the Resolution for the 2023-2025 period, the suitability of targets, breakthroughs, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
In addition, the Congress also spent time assessing the advantages, shortcomings, and limitations in the leadership and direction of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation for the 2023-2028 term, thereby proposing contents that need to be adjusted and supplemented in the next term.
For the Draft Documents of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2026 - 2031, delegates focused on giving comments on the assessment of the implementation results of the Resolution for the period 2023 - 2025; the goals, targets, tasks and development solutions of the Trade Union organization and current workers' lives.
The Congress is divided into 4 discussion groups, focusing on the contents of the First Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress Documents, the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress Documents and the amended and supplemented Trade Union Charter.
On the morning of December 15, the first Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, will hold an official session.
After the merger, Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor has 2 professional departments, 24 civil servants, managing 922 grassroots unions with 91,311 union members.
In the period of 2023 - 2025, trade unions at all levels have provided legal aid to 2,640 union members and workers. Successfully organized an annual dialogue conference between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and union members and workers.
Regarding welfare care, 199,808 union members and workers have been cared for for for during Tet, with a budget of 148.031 billion VND;
Support the construction and repair of houses for 121 union members with a budget of 5.43 billion VND; implement 54 loan projects to create jobs for union members.
The union member welfare program has implemented 46 cooperation agreements, with over 60,000 union members and workers benefiting, with a welfare value of over 6 billion VND.
Regarding organizational construction, 198 grassroots unions have been established, and 33,522 new union members have been admitted. Participating in Party building, the provincial trade unions at all levels have introduced 5,672 outstanding union members to the Party, through which 2,544 union members have been admitted to the Party.
Implementing emulation movements for initiatives, up to now, there have been over 8,584 initiatives and topics at all levels; over 85 works and products for the celebration.
There are 18 topics and works that have won the Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 35 topics and works have won the Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Competition
The inspection and supervision work has conducted 1,814 inspections of compliance with the Charter; 2,337 inspections of trade union finance and assets; 341 thematic supervisions.
In 2024, Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation was awarded the Second Class Independence Medal by the President.
