On August 24, according to the leader of Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance, as of July 31, 2025, the insurance industry has collected more than VND 4,022 billion.
The situation of social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance, and occupational accident and disease insurance debts is still continuing with a total debt of more than 467 billion VND.
Of which, social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance, and occupational accident and disease insurance debts are more than 347 billion VND. Interest on late payment is more than 63 billion VND, the budget has not yet provided health insurance is more than 56 billion VND.
Of which, 2,159 units owed for 1 month or more, led by the non-state enterprise sector with 1,982 units, with a debt of more than 160 billion VND.
The whole province has 715 units owing social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance, occupational accident and disease insurance for 6 months or more, with an amount of more than 138 billion VND.
Some units have large debts, continue to be late in payment, and lack coordination with competent authorities to resolve social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance, and occupational accident and disease insurance debts for employees.

Regarding the debt of wages and social insurance at Mai Linh Nha Trang Company Limited, although the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province has sent a document to relevant units to coordinate in handling the final settlement, however, as of August 13, the enterprise has not yet reported on the settlement of wages and social insurance debts for employees. At the same time, the company continues to make promises to employees about repayment of debts, social insurance debts, vehicle documents and other debts.
At the request of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, the Provincial Social Insurance continues to urge the company to urgently comply with Decision No. 3479/QD-XPHC, dated December 31, 2024 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on administrative sanctions in the field of social insurance for Mai Linh Nha Trang Company Limited, to be completed before August 30, 2025.
The Provincial Federation of Labor continues to monitor and urge the company to fulfill its obligation to pay wages, social insurance... for employees until August 8, 2025 (according to the commitment at the meeting on May 8, 2025).
Assign the Department of Home Affairs to continue urging the company to implement Decision No. 47/QD-XPHC dated April 22, 2025 to sanction administrative violations in the field of labor against Mai Linh Nha Trang Company Limited, to be completed before August 30.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also requires agencies to carry out procedures according to their authority in case the company does not comply.
According to statistics from the Provincial Federation of Labor, up to now, 20 employees are owed social insurance by Mai Linh Nha Trang Company Limited for 24 to 48 months, 4 employees are owed wages.
