Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper on August 29, an official of the old Song Hong Technical - Professional Secondary School (Song Hong School) said that on September 5, 25 civil servant recruits will attend the announcement ceremony, awarding decisions and the new school year opening ceremony.
Sharing about his feelings, this official said he was very happy because after decades of petitioning to functional agencies, his opinions were received.
Officials of the old Song Hong School also thanked Lao Dong Newspaper for always accompanying the school collective in protecting legitimate rights.
Currently, many teachers here are busy preparing for the new school year.
Expressing his wish, this official hoped that the functional agencies of Phu Tho province would consider and handle regimes and policies, especially social insurance, while waiting for arrangement.
Previously, in April 2026, Lao Dong Newspaper reflected the situation of Song Hong School facing prolonged difficulties after being transferred to Phu Tho province.
In September 2024, Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to receive Song Hong School in its original state from the Ministry of Construction. However, nearly 20 months after the time of receipt, 29 officials and teachers of the school were not paid salaries and social insurance. One reason is that the Ministry of Construction has not clarified the legal status of this personnel, whether they are civil servants or employees.
After the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper, Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee directed relevant agencies to urgently handle it.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu - Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee - once said that the province has assigned the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Education and Training and related units to develop a plan for personnel transfer and arrangement.
Phu Tho Vocational College is assigned to receive, arrange job positions and consolidate titles for officials, employees, and workers of the old Song Hong School according to its authority.
Regarding the regime for the previous period, the Provincial People's Committee said that it has assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Social Insurance to develop a plan to handle regimes and policies for workers.
The province requests units to review in the direction of ensuring the best rights for officials and teachers. The contents to be considered include salaries, allowances and social insurance for the time it has not been resolved.
