At the meeting with the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union on the occasion of its 29th anniversary (September 14, 1996 - September 14, 2025), Mr. Cao Huu Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group praised the results that the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union has achieved in 29 years of construction and development. Many activities and movements jointly organized by the Trade Union and the Group have been maintained and effectively implemented for many years, gradually becoming a cultural and traditional feature of the industry.
The Trade Union has performed well its task of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers, contributing to stabilizing production, ensuring jobs and lives for workers, and contributing to the overall development of the Group and the industry.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union will continue to promote the good traditions that have been fostered over the years. That is constantly innovating, being flexible, creative, accompanying the Group and employees on the new journey - the era of national growth.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union also pledged to continue to stand side by side with the Group and enterprises, closely attached to the grassroots through caring activities, bringing real and effective value to the entire system.
