According to the plan, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) is actively preparing the necessary conditions to organize the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
The congress is scheduled to take place on December 10, 2025 at the Vinh Long Provincial Convention Center, with the participation of 390 delegates, including 300 official delegates and 90 guests.
The Congress is an extensive and democratic political activity, aiming to summarize the implementation of the Trade Union Resolution for the 2023-2028 term, review the leadership role of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee for the past term and develop an operational direction for the 2025-2030 period.
The Congress will also announce the appointment of the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of the First Provincial Trade Union, and at the same time participate in giving comments on the draft documents of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union and amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor has issued a detailed organization plan, establishing subcommittees to prepare personnel, documents and logistics for the Congress.
Before the event, propaganda activities, cheering, welcoming works, cultural - artistic - sports exchanges, visits and gifts for union members and workers were also vigorously implemented, creating an exciting atmosphere in the entire system.
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Congress promises to mark a new step of maturity of the trade union organization in the period of integration and development.
