In recent days, units such as the Cam Xuyen District Labor Federation, Ha Tinh City Labor Federation, the Government Trade Union, and the Trade Union of Economic Zones of Ha Tinh province have held a launching ceremony for Workers' Month and the Month of Action on occupational Safety and Health. At the launching ceremony, the units presented support to many MICD and supported hundreds of gifts for union members and workers in difficulty and those who had work-related accidents.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of the Labor Federation of Ha Tinh Province, the month of workers is the peak month of trade union activities. Through the "working month" activities to continue affirming the position and role of trade unions in representing, taking care of, protecting the legitimate and legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. At the same time, promoting the attention of employers and the whole society in taking care of building a strong working class.
On the occasion of this year's Workers' Month, the Social Charity Fund of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor supported 40 MCD and presented 52 gifts to union members and workers who had work-related accidents and occupational diseases with a total amount of more than 1.4 billion VND. The trade unions at the grassroots level and the grassroots trade unions also pay attention to and give gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with the motto "each grassroots trade union, one benefit for union members".
The Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor also honored and awarded certificates of merit from the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee to 50 outstanding workers across the province who have achieved many achievements in the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers" in 2024.
The Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor called on units, enterprises, trade unions at the grassroots level and grassroots trade unions to promote emulation movements at all levels of trade unions, among union members, workers and civil servants; effectively implement patriotic emulation movements at agencies, units and enterprises.
