Streamlining the apparatus, increasing care for workers
Implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Government and Project 02/Da-LDLD dated January 15, 2025 of the Provincial Labor Confederation Standing Committee, Ha Tinh Trade Union system has streamlined arrangement of the apparatus. The provincial Labor Confederation has merged 6 committees into 4 committees, ended the operation of 6 trade unions, established the provincial Party Committee and the provincial government trade union, merged Loc Ha District Labor Federation into Thach Ha Labor Federation. Along with that is the arrangement, mobilization and implementation of policies for officials according to Decree 177, 178/2024/ND-CP.
Decisions to reorganize the apparatus have been implemented synchronously, methodically, and transparently, ensuring stable team ideology. The appointment of Executive Committees, Standing Committees, and Inspection Committees at units after the merger was carried out promptly, creating a premise for more effective and efficient operations.
With the motto "Towards the grassroots, for union members and workers", the Provincial Federation of Labor pays special attention to protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers. In the first quarter of 2025, 531 people received legal advice and support in resolving 4 complaints. More than 99% of administrative units organize conferences for civil servants and public employees, more than 72% of enterprises with trade unions organize conferences for workers. 363/398 enterprises have trade unions supporting shift meals, nearly 14,200 people receive periodic health check-ups.
The "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" program in 2025 continues to make a strong impression when 100% of trade unions at the grassroots level and 50% of grassroots trade unions organize the program. Trade unions at all levels mobilized nearly 20 billion VND, supporting more than 47,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances. In addition, the union also supported the construction of 40 "Union Shelters", organized 4 bus trips, and supported 324 people to return home for Tet.
The "Online Trade Union Tet Market" program has been implemented creatively and effectively. 100% of union members successfully ordered through the digital platform of the General Confederation.
In the 2025 Workers' Month, the Ha Tinh Trade Union Social Fund supported 40 "Union Shelters" for 40 union members with housing difficulties and provided subsidies to 52 workers and laborers who had work-related accidents and occupational diseases with a total amount of 1.44 billion VND.
Promoting emulation movements and social work
Propaganda, political and legal education and launching emulation movements were widely organized. In the first quarter of 2025, the whole province launched an emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" associated with the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Party. Many meaningful works and products have been registered to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor together with Ha Tinh trade unions at all levels organized many cultural and sports activities such as volleyball tournaments, Pickleball, cultural exchanges... attracting a large number of union members to participate. Nearly 100% of grassroots trade unions organize cultural and sports activities during Tet and major holidays. 37 newly established clubs, with more than 13,500 participants.
Trade unions at all levels continue to be the shock force in humanitarian activities. In the first quarter of 2025, nearly 2,600 gifts worth over 1.36 billion VND were presented to poor patients, lonely elderly people, and disadvantaged students. Nearly 3,300 units of blood were received from the "Red Spring Festival" and "Red Sunday" programs, jointly organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor, with the participation of thousands of union members and workers. Trade unions at all levels actively and effectively participate in other social activities such as the gratitude movement, the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, etc.
Accelerating breakthroughs, taking action for workers
Entering the second quarter of 2025, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation clearly identified the motto of action: "Innovation - Practical - Efficient", taking workers as the center of all activities.
With the policy of arranging and streamlining the apparatus, the provincial Labor Confederation continues to promote the propagation of major guidelines and policies of the Central and the province, especially important conclusions such as 121-KL/TW, 126-KL/TW, 127-KL/TW, 128-KL/TW ... on streamlining the organization and cadre work. Continuing to implement synchronously and extensively the guidelines on organizing the organizational apparatus, and at the same time promoting trade union activities in the new period.
With the consistent goal of ensuring the rights and safety of workers, Ha Tinh trade unions at all levels closely coordinate with all levels, sectors and enterprises, organize a provincial-level peak period, and at the same time deploy many practical activities at the grassroots level. The focus is on dialogue programs between employees and employers, focusing on hot issues such as working conditions, wages, occupational safety and hygiene and workers' welfare.
Trade unions at all levels will promote propaganda activities, training on occupational safety and health knowledge, organizing inspections and supervision of working conditions at enterprises at high risk of occupational accidents, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility in building a safe and civilized working environment.
Activities to commend outstanding workers, give gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, support "Union Shelter" houses... will be widely implemented, creating a spirit of solidarity and sharing, clearly affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying and acting for the practical benefits of union members and workers.
In parallel with the arrangement of the apparatus, the Provincial Federation of Labor also aims to strongly develop the force of union members and establish new grassroots unions, especially in the non-state sector.
The work of inspecting and supervising the implementation of the Trade Union Charter and legal policies on labor, social insurance, and occupational safety and hygiene continues to be promoted, ensuring that the rights of workers are fully and properly implemented.
With a new spirit and strong action spirit, Ha Tinh Trade Union always affirms its role and is a reliable support for union members and workers, while actively contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the province in 2025 and the following years.
