Hanoi Employment Service Center said that July is the time when workers tend to look for new job opportunities to increase income. Along with that, businesses also restart production and business activities, creating many vacant job positions, especially in the general labor group and office workers.
In July, the number of workers looking for jobs in the city was 41,700 people.
The survey results, collecting information from more than 3,800 job seekers of the center, show that the desired salary of workers is mainly from 10-20 million VND/month (accounting for 46.2%). This is the expected salary level of people with good professional qualifications (such as university graduates or intermediate/high-level professionals with experience).
The salary level from 5-10 million VND/month accounts for 44.6%. This is the common salary level on the market, suitable for this group are usually general laborers, new graduates, or basic administrative/service positions.
Salaries over 20 million VND/month account for 7.1%, focusing on senior personnel such as leaders, managers or experienced experts. This shows that the most vibrant recruitment market will be in the salary range of 5-20 million VND/month.
Businesses wanting to attract a large number of candidate applications need to locate the minimum wage range in the range of 5-20 million VND/month to ensure competitiveness," a representative of the Hanoi Employment Service Center recommended.
