Mr. Phu Kiet (26 years old) is currently a food delivery job, and his wife My Hien attended a mass wedding in Ho Chi Minh City with great happiness. The two registered their marriage at the end of 2024 and now have a baby who is about to turn one year old.
Sharing his feelings on the special day, Mr. Kiet said: "We are very happy and touched. Hopefully this will be a stepping stone, marking the beginning for the couple to build a home together".
Ms. Nhan and Mr. Tai are working at 2 companies in the city. After work, Ms. Nhan still takes advantage of doing extra marketing work from 5pm to 10pm. During the times they participated in volunteer trips together, the two met and fell in love with each other.
In 2019, the two got married, but due to difficult circumstances, they had not yet held a wedding. In 2024, the couple welcomed a new member. Due to difficult circumstances, the couple had to send their children back to their hometown for their grandparents to take care of, to continue to work in the city.
This year, the couple's wish for a complete wedding ceremony finally came true when they were one of 50 couples participating in the 2025 collective wedding ceremony, taking place on October 24 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The couples are cadres, workers, teachers, demobilized soldiers, young workers and workers in difficult circumstances working in industrial parks, export processing zones, agencies, units, schools, enterprises and trade unions in the city.
The program began with a flower offering ceremony for President Ho Chi Minh and the awarding of marriage certificates to couples. Next, a parade was held by environmentally friendly public transport such as metro and river buses. The couples attended a traditional wedding party together.
More than 1,200 couples held a collective wedding ceremony
Since 2007, Thanh Doan and the Ho Chi Minh City Workers' Youth Support Center have accompanied agencies, unions, and business communities in the city to join hands to support 1,206 young couples of workers and young laborers in difficult circumstances, helping them have a solemn and joyful wedding ceremony.
After 15 times of organization, the collective wedding program also recorded stories about love, the determination to overcome difficulties of many young couples of workers and laborers.
The program is a place for couples to realize their dreams of a solemn and fulfilling wedding. This is the beginning of the journey to build a happy family, contributing to honoring the beauty of the national cultural tradition, encouraging the organization of civilized and economical weddings, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and affection of Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, in 2025, in the context of the city's strong innovation, implementing the merger and rearrangement of administrative boundaries, Ho Chi Minh City aims to become a model of a modern, smart, green and sustainable super city, creating new growth drivers, reaching the same level as international cities. In that journey, the young workers continue to play a solid pillar role, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development and preserving the cultural beauty of the city.
