"The main road in Vinh Trung village has also been completed, but the quality is not as expected. The road surface is too little asphalt, said Mr. Hoanh.
According to statistics from the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh province, to construct the North-South expressway project through Ha Tinh, the investor and construction units borrowed 153.38km to build a service road, of which the provincial road is 53.46km and the local road is 99.92km.
On October 23, Mr. Hoang Chien Thang - Executive Director of the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi Expressway Project (Thang Long Project Management Board) - said that the contractors for the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi Expressway have completed the construction and repair of locally borrowed roads to build the expressway. The construction and repair work was completed before October 15.
Mr. Thang also said that he had received feedback from some localities about not being satisfied with the quality of some routes after the return. However, Mr. Thang said that the loan would be returned as before.
"Previously, the concrete pouring road was not asphalt, but we returned it as a concrete road that was not asphalted, but they demanded an asphalt concrete road, so the cost was several times higher than the contractor could meet the requirements," said Mr. Thang.
A leader of the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh province - said that up to now, contractors have basically completed the construction, repaired and restored the borrowed routes to make official highway construction roads.
In particular, for the road managed by the commune, after completion, the commune government will inspect and accept it, for the road managed by the Department of Construction, the Department of Construction will inspect and accept it.
Regarding the concern of some localities about the quality of some roads after restoration, the leader of the Ha Tinh Department of Construction said that the viewpoint is that the road after restoration must ensure quality and safety for the circulation of vehicles.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper also reported the slow return of traffic routes used as public roads for the construction of the North-South Expressway through Ha Tinh, especially the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section.
The leaders of Ha Tinh province then directed and requested contractors to complete the repair and restore the routes borrowed from the locality before September 30.
