The Department of Home Affairs of Bac Ninh province said that in order to maintain production, ensure order progress and maintain the growth rate of the industrial sector during the Binh Ngo Tet 2026, Bac Ninh province has more than 33.5 thousand workers working throughout Tet.
The working time is mainly from December 28th to the end of the 3rd day of Tet. A few businesses mobilize workers to work until the 5th day of Tet. Businesses with workers working throughout Tet mainly belong to the electronics sector - a key manufacturing industry, contributing greatly to the export value of the province.
According to representatives of the Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Home Affairs, along with maintaining production, businesses focus on taking care of the lives of workers working during Tet. In addition to overtime salaries of at least 300% according to regulations and full insurance regimes, many businesses also provide additional cash support, lucky money at the beginning of the year, arrange shuttle buses, improve shift meals with richer menus than usual or organize visits and Tet greetings right at the factory.
On February 23 (the 7th day of Tet), not only businesses in industrial parks, but also many businesses in industrial clusters and outside industrial parks in the area simultaneously reopened.
According to the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province, the whole province currently has 23 industrial parks that have been established and put into operation, attracting nearly 2,000 businesses. As of February 23, businesses have basically resumed production with more than 500,000 workers going to work, ensuring to maintain stable production activities right from the first days of the year.
