The Trade Union of Chang Chun Vina Co., Ltd. (An Ngai Industrial - Handicraft Cluster, Long Dien Commune) also said that the enterprise has more than 1,900 workers, and about 95% of workers have returned to work on the first day of operation.
Some businesses give employees Tet holidays longer than regulations. The Trade Union of AJ Solution Co., Ltd. said that by the 9th day of Tet (February 25), all employees will start to return to work. According to initial statistics, it is estimated that about 95% of employees will return to work after the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday.
According to the Working Group No. 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, in the beginning of 2026, the production and business situation at enterprises basically did not fluctuate much, and the labor and employment situation was stable.
After the Lunar New Year holiday of Binh Ngo 2026, by the 7th day of Tet (February 23), about 92% of businesses simultaneously returned to work, with about 95% of workers (out of a total of more than 65,300 workers) returning to work. Many businesses and units spent the early hours meeting, wishing Tet, and giving lucky money to workers from 50,000 VND to 500,000 VND.
The number of workers who have not returned to work mainly belongs to businesses that use many workers in the leather and garment industries with few orders. The seafood processing and construction industries... do not have input materials for production. In addition, some businesses create conditions for workers to return to their hometowns, combined with annual leave, so the leave time is longer. It is expected that by the 10th day of Tet (February 26), 100% of workers will return to work.
