Support for free bus tickets to take workers home to celebrate Tet
The Trade Union of Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bien Hoa ward, Dong Nai province, specializing in shoe production with about 14,000 union members and workers) has announced support for bus tickets for Tet in 2026 to send workers home for Tet and return to work after the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026.
The subjects are workers in difficult circumstances, who have not returned home for Tet for many consecutive years, have a need to return home for Tet Binh Ngo in 2026 and commit to returning to work after the end of the Tet holiday. Accordingly, workers in the northern provinces and cities (from the old Binh Dinh province and above) use vehicles supported by the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor. Workers traveling on routes to Ca Mau and Quy Nhon will travel by car, which the Trade Union will coordinate with the transportation service unit.
When returning to work, workers need to provide bus tickets to the union to prepare a payment file for the amount equivalent to the bus ticket price prescribed at the time of departure and return.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Phap - Chairman of the Trade Union of Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that each year, about 300-400 workers register for free bus tickets for Tet.
Meanwhile, TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien Ward, with about 35,000 employees) has early given a New Year bonus of VND 200,000/person to union members and employees in 2026. The company has also planned to give Lunar New Year bonuses in 2026 to union members and employees and will soon announce them.
Enterprises spend 600 billion VND to give Tet bonuses to workers
The Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Company Limited (Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province, with about 42,000 employees) said: On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, the enterprise plans to spend about 600 billion VND to give Tet bonuses to workers.
Mr. Dang Tuan Tu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Company Limited - said: The bonus level is equivalent to the bonus level of previous years, because this content has been signed by the Trade Union and the company and included in the collective labor agreement. Employees who have worked for a full year will receive a bonus of 1 month's salary, each seniority year will be added by 5%; the highest bonus is up to 200% (ie 2 months' salary).
Not only Lunar New Year bonuses, workers also receive New Year bonuses, union Tet gifts, attend year-end activities and activities to care for their lives at the end of the year. In particular, this year, the actual income of workers increased compared to last year because the regional minimum wage was adjusted and long-term workers received a salary increase according to seniority. Orders increase, jobs are stable, income is guaranteed, creating more joy and motivation for employees throughout the company. Currently, the company's orders are increasing continuously and is continuing to recruit more workers. In 2025, the company has recruited 6,000 more workers.
