According to news from the Executive Committee of Bai Chay Ward Trade Union, from the beginning of 2026 to now, the Ward Trade Union has actively propagated and mobilized the establishment and development of new grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) according to targets assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation.
Accordingly, in the first 6 months of the year, the Ward Trade Union organized the launching ceremony of 5 new grassroots trade unions, with 625 union members.
In July 2026, the Ward Trade Union propagated and mobilized 10 units and businesses in Bai Chay ward to join the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
In which, 5 grassroots trade unions have been decided to be recognized as establishing grassroots trade unions, including: Trade Union of Phuc Hung Trading and Service Co., Ltd. - Quang Ninh Branch; Trade Union of Ha Long Thinh Vuong Tourism and Trade Service Co., Ltd.; Trade Union of Gia Hung Quang Ninh Transportation Trading and Service Co., Ltd.; Royal Lotus 1168 Tourism and Trade Co., Ltd. and Truc Lam Duong International Trading Co., Ltd.
Newly established grassroots trade unions are small in scale, with a minimum of 11 members and a maximum of 44 members.
Along with the target of establishing new grassroots trade unions, the number of union members at some units and hotels (with grassroots trade unions under the management of ward trade unions) has increased from 300-400 new union members.
Thus, according to the assigned plan, up to this point, the Bai Chay Ward Trade Union has completed the target of developing 1,000 union members and establishing 10 new grassroots trade unions in 2026.
