All employees have Tet
On the morning of February 11, at the Provincial Labor Culture House (facility 1, No. 167 Hung Vuong Street, Nghia Lo Ward), the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring Gratitude to the Party" and "Trade Union Tet Market" with the motto: "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet".
Attending the program were Comrade Vu Hong Thanh, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Comrade Lam Van Man, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Comrade Huynh Thanh Xuan, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
In drizzly weather, hundreds of workers and 30 poor households received Tet gifts from the Party and State. Unable to hide her joy when receiving 2 million VND and Tet gifts, Ms. Pham Thi Hoa (47 years old, in group 4, Cam Thanh ward) confided: "I am a poor household, my family only has two children, my daughter is studying at Da Nang University of Education. Tet is approaching, I need many things to buy, so when I received 2 million VND and Tet gifts including cakes and candies..., I was very happy and touched.
Ms. Do Thi Kim Chi - a worker at Happy Furniture Co., Ltd. - shared: "This Lunar New Year, I received a bonus of more than one month's basic salary from the company. In addition, when attending the Tet Sum vay - Spring Gratitude Program and Trade Union Tet Market, I also received an infrared stove and one million VND, and participated in many prize-winning games. It's really fun and exciting.
Taking care of Tet for over 90,000 union members
Sharing the joy of welcoming Tet with union members and workers in Quang Ngai province, during the Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party this year, leaders of the Party, State, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Committees of the National Assembly, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, leaders of Quang Ngai province and the Provincial Labor Federation have given over 7,000 gifts to policy families, union members, workers, and laborers with a total amount of over 7.3 billion VND.
The Quang Ngai Trade Union organization system simultaneously implemented the union member welfare program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", taking care of Tet for over 90,000 union members, workers, civil servants and laborers throughout the province.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also presented over 4,000 online shopping vouchers, each worth 500,000 VND, to support union members to participate in the online Trade Union Tet Market. The Provincial Labor Federation organized the Trade Union Tet Market, mobilizing businesses to reduce prices from 10 - 30% on essential goods, and presented 700 "No VND" shopping vouchers, each worth 500,000 VND, to support union members to shop for Tet.
Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party in 2026 in Quang Ngai has 133 units and businesses supporting 477 million VND, together with the Provincial Labor Federation to take care of Tet for union members and workers.
Speaking at the program, Comrade Vu Hong Thanh - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly - highly appreciated the growth and economic development rate of Quang Ngai province in 2025; and emphasized that the achievement was thanks to the great contribution of workers and civil servants.
The comrade wished that in the coming time, trade union levels in Quang Ngai would continue to take care of the lives of workers and employees even better; wished all union members, workers, and laborers to celebrate the traditional Tet 2026 full of joy and happiness and continue to contribute to the overall development of the province.
