Recently, the work of labor management, wages, social insurance (SI), and unemployment insurance (UI) in Gia Lai province has achieved many positive results. Enterprises basically comply with legal regulations, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations, ensuring workers' rights, contributing to local socio-economic development.
However, some businesses still owe wages, are late or evade paying social insurance and unemployment insurance; have not strictly implemented the signing and performance of labor contracts, leading to complaints, large gatherings, affecting security, order and investment environment.

Typically, Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited suddenly stopped production from July 31, leaving a debt of more than 7.1 billion VND, causing many workers and households who contracted products with partner enterprises to be upset. Of which, more than 2.3 billion VND is the salary of 130 workers, more than 2.5 billion VND is the processing of households, and more than 2.3 billion VND is owed to partners.
This company has deducted social insurance from employees but did not pay to the insurance agency, causing many people to lose unemployment benefits, have their health insurance cards locked, and not be paid for medical examination and treatment costs.

Not only this case, by the end of August 2025, the whole province of Gia Lai has 755 employers who are 6 months or more late in paying social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident and disease insurance. The total debt is more than 159 billion VND, directly affecting the rights of 4,229 workers.
Many enterprises owe a huge and prolonged amount of money, such as: 47 Construction Joint Stock Company owes nearly 13 billion VND to 786 employees, lasting 13 months; FLC Quy Nhon Golf and Resort Joint Stock Company owes more than 28.2 billion VND to 326 employees, lasting 39 months; Tre Viet Aviation Joint Stock Company owes more than 30 billion VND to 926 employees, lasting 17 months; 504 Joint Stock Company owes more than 14.3 billion VND to 5 employees, lasting up to 175 months... The remaining units are late in paying with amounts ranging from a few tens of millions of VND to a few billions of VND.
Faced with the above situation, the Department of Home Affairs of Gia Lai province requires enterprises to strictly implement the signing of labor contracts, pay salaries on time and ensure full benefits when employees terminate contracts. At the same time, it is necessary to accurately declare, pay correctly and fully the insurance payments according to regulations, absolutely do not let the situation of late payment, evasion or social insurance debt occur.
