On September 25, the Da Nang City Labor Federation implemented the negotiation and signing of the Collective Labor Agreement for non-public kindergartens in Lien Chieu district.
There are 9 units participating in the signing of the Collective Labor Agreement including: Vanh Khuyen Kindergarten; Hong Phuc Kindergarten; Bong Sen Kindergarten; Hoa Sua Kindergarten; Anh Duong Kindergarten; Truc Xinh Kindergarten; Do Re Mon Kindergarten; Sao Mai Kindergarten; Saukura Kids Kindergarten with more than 130 union members and workers.
The Lien Chieu District Labor Federation is the authorized representative for the grassroots trade union, and the Lien Chieu District Department of Education and Training is the authorized representative of the school owners and principals of 9 schools to sign the agreement according to regulations.
Some of the outstanding contents in the Collective Labor Agreement of non-public kindergartens in Lien Chieu district include: Building a salary scale and table to ensure at least 10 salary levels and the difference between two adjacent salary levels is at least 03 to 05%. The time to consider promotion for employees is from 1 year (full 12 months) to 2 years (24 months) of work.
Regarding salary increase: the organization evaluates the employee's performance and considers salary increase every 1 or 2 years for employees who have worked for 12 or 24 months or more.
The salary of an employee during the probationary period is equal to 90% of the salary for that job. During the probationary period, the employee is entitled to at least 1 allowance such as gasoline, phone, diligence, etc.
Employees receive a New Year's bonus; Lunar New Year bonus of at least 1.5 million VND/person.
Employers create time conditions for employees who need to study and improve their professional qualifications up to 16 hours/month.
Employers are responsible for creating time and arranging a location for the grassroots trade union executive board to conduct propaganda work for employees at least 60 minutes/time/year and receive full salary.
Employers are obliged to organize periodic health check-ups for employees according to the law; provide uniforms for employees or provide financial support.
Implement 14 benefits for employees including: Meal allowance between shifts; birthday gifts; holiday allowance; sightseeing, vacation, entertainment activities; wedding and childbirth gifts; sickness and funeral allowance; support for sudden difficulties...
Mr. Le Van Dai, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, said: The signing of the Collective Labor Agreement for non-public kindergartens in Lien Chieu district will create connection and synchronization in the activities of caring for the welfare of workers of the schools; create peace of mind and attachment of workers to the school, helping the school attract, retain workers and stabilize long-term operations.
