Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in June 2026, the City created jobs for 12,000 workers. In which, jobs were created for 2,900 workers from the City's entrusted budget capital through the Social Policy Bank with an amount of 524 billion VND; 635 workers were created jobs through labor export; more than 1,000 people found jobs through job transaction sessions and job introduction counseling activities at Hanoi Employment Service Center; 7,500 workers were created jobs through other forms.
In general, in the first 6 months of 2026, the City has created jobs for 102,300 workers (reaching 59.8% of the 2026 plan), including creating jobs for 21,200 workers from the City's entrusted budget capital through the Social Policy Bank with an amount of 2,295 billion VND; 6,200 workers received jobs through the activities of the Hanoi Employment Service Center; 1,700 workers were created jobs through labor export and 73,200 workers found jobs through other forms of support.
In June 2026, the Hanoi Employment Service Center organized 24 job transaction sessions. 562 units participated in recruitment with a total of 12,354 recruitment and enrollment targets. 1,330 workers were interviewed at job transaction sessions.
As of the end of June, the Hanoi Employment Service Center has organized 124 job transaction sessions with the participation of 2,891 businesses with over 60,000 recruitment and enrollment targets.
Through activities at the job fair, over 4,300 workers were received and recruited. In addition, the Center strengthens vocational training orientation and job conversion for unemployed workers; organizes consulting and job introduction activities on the job fair system in the City; ... thereby supporting job creation for workers.
Regarding support and settlement of unemployment insurance (BHTN) policies in June 2026, the Center received 8,954 applications for unemployment insurance benefits (an increase of 645 applications compared to May 2026 and an increase of 932 applications compared to the same period last year). Appraised and issued decisions to enjoy unemployment benefits for 9,376 people (an increase of 1,748 compared to May 2026 and an increase of 1,265 applications compared to the same period in 2025) with a support amount of 322.5 billion VND.
In addition, the Center has provided counseling and job search support for over 1,800 workers, including vocational training support for 69 people with an amount of 275.2 million VND. In the first 6 months of the year, the Center received 33,300 applications for unemployment benefits; issued decisions to receive unemployment benefits for 32,000 applications with a support amount of 1,139.7 billion VND. The Center also supported vocational training for 479 workers with a total amount of 1,938.2 million VND.
