According to Mr. Ha Thanh Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Yen Lao Railway Joint Stock Company, "Union Meal" is a practical activity within the program to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
This is not only a cozy collective meal but also an opportunity for workers to meet, exchange, strengthen solidarity and cohesion between units, and at the same time encourage the spirit of cadres, workers and civil servants to work with peace of mind and complete assigned tasks well.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Permanent Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor sent his best wishes, thanks and acknowledged the efforts and contributions of the collective of cadres, union members and workers in the railway industry, especially the forces directly working at railway stations and lines.
The Standing Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized that trade unions at all levels will continue to accompany businesses, better care for workers' lives, and build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union presented 5 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND. The gifts, although not of great material value, contain affection and sharing, contributing to encouraging workers to overcome difficulties, stay attached to work, and contribute to the common development of businesses and the railway industry.

A large number of workers and laborers expressed their joy and excitement when having a meal with more rich and nutritious meals as well as receiving encouragement and attention from trade unions at all levels.
The program has left many good impressions, clearly demonstrating the role of the trade union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers; contributing to building the image of a united, responsible and dedicated railway industry.
