On August 14, the Board of Directors and the Trade Union of Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company (CASUMINA) coordinated to organize the 2025 "Union Meal" program for nearly 800 workers of the radial Tire Factory, under CASUMINA.
Also attending the "Union Meal" were Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Thai Thu Xuong, representative of the Vietnam Chemical Trade Union.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hien - Chairman of the CASUMINA Trade Union - said that the 2025 "Union Meal" will be organized for all nearly 2,000 workers of the company, with a value of 60,000 VND/person/meal.
In addition to the usual meals worth VND30,000/meal, the union will spend an additional VND30,000 to help the workers have more delicious, quality meals. The "Union Meal" held on August 14, at radial Tire Factory, includes dishes: beef steak, fried pink elephant ear, salty ram shrimp, pork floss soup and tofu Singapore.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoat - Party Secretary, General Director of CASUMINA - said that recently, the company's Board of Directors has spent more than 10 billion VND to renovate and upgrade the dining room, helping the company's workers have a cooler and more comfortable dining space. At the same time, the company always cares about the quality, food safety and hygiene, helping workers improve their health and quickly regenerate their labor force.
The "Union Meal" initiated by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor from 2024 is not only an opportunity for all employees of the company to have more delicious, quality meals but also an opportunity to create more cohesion between employees and businesses.
We not only have labor relations, not only work together, but we are teammates, comrades and companions for the increasingly stable life, the increasingly better income of each worker, for the common development of the company. I hope that after today's meal, that bond will be even stronger. The company's leadership will always accompany and take care of the lives of brothers and sisters more, so that every day coming to CASUMINA is a happy day, working effectively" - Mr. Khoat said.
