On the evening of October 4, in Sa Dec ward, the Labor Federation of Dong Thap province organized the 2025 Full Moon Festival Night Program for children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances with low incomes who are working at enterprises with trade unions and living in self-managed workers' dormitories in industrial parks and industrial clusters.
Attending were Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor; Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Trang, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, along with representatives of leaders of departments, branches, enterprises, sponsoring units and a large number of union members and workers.
The program opened with artistic activities with many special performances, creating an exciting atmosphere for children, such as: lion dance, the live show "Uncle Cuoi - Sister Hang" recreating the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere, creating excitement and excitement for children.
On behalf of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Vice President Ngo Thi Thuy Trang respectfully read the Mid-Autumn Festival greeting letter from President Luong Cuong to children and teenagers across the country.
Speaking at the opening of the program, Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor Huynh Thi Tuyet affirmed that the Trade Union organization always cares about taking care of children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances with low incomes, especially during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
"Currently, the living conditions of workers and laborers working in industrial parks and clusters still face many difficulties; many workers' children and grandchildren do not have the conditions to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor hopes to organize the Full Moon Festival Night Program to give children gifts so that they can enjoy a happy and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival, entering the new school year with even better results, Ms. Vui emphasized.
Ms. Vui also wished the children to continue to strive, practice, and study according to the 5 things Uncle Ho taught to teenagers and children; unite, help those in difficult circumstances, study hard, practice, do many good things, and be worthy of being the future owners of the country.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 300 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to the children. Each gift includes moon cakes, lanterns and green rice, worth 375,000 VND.
It is known that this is the initial activity of the 2025 Full Moon Festival Night program organized by the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor at 2 locations: Sa Dec Ward and Dao Thanh Ward. The program in Dao Thanh ward was held on the evening of October 6, 2025, continuing to give 300 gifts.
The total cost of gifts in the two programs is 225 million VND, which was socialized through mobilizing businesses.
