The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 7 organized the "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love" program in 2025 for children of union members, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances in the area on the evening of October 2.
At the program, the Area Management Working Group No. 7 presented 20 gifts from the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (each including 1 million VND in cash and Mid-Autumn Festival gifts) to children of union members and workers who are unfortunately suffering from serious illnesses, work-related accidents, occupational diseases and 125 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts allocated by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation to children of workers and laborers in difficult circumstances, including children who have lost their father or mother due to the COVID-19 epidemic (each gift includes 200,000 VND with candy and soft drinks).
The total value of the care program is more than 50,000,000 VND from union financial resources and mobilization funds contributed by benefactors, agencies, units, and enterprises.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Dang Trung Dung - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - emphasized: "Each Mid-Autumn Festival gift is not only practical support, but also the affection and sharing of the Trade Union organization to the children of union members, workers and laborers. We hope that this attention will add confidence and motivation for them to overcome difficulties, study well, practice to be good, and become useful citizens for society.
