According to Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Trang - Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) - the 2025 Full Moon Festival Night event was organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor at 2 locations: Dao Thanh Ward (old Tien Giang Province) and Sa Dec Ward (old Dong Thap Province). These are 2 areas with a large number of workers and laborers working in industrial parks and living in self-managed worker boarding house models.
In Sa Dec ward, the Full Moon Festival will be held at 6:00 p.m. on October 8; in Dao Thanh ward, it will be held at 6:00 p.m. on October 6. At each location, the Provincial Federation of Labor organizes activities for 300 union members, workers, and laborers born from 2009 to 2019, with difficult circumstances and low income at enterprises with union organizations, participating in activities. With the construction of many exciting activities, at the Full Moon Festival event, in addition to being able to watch performances, lion and dragon dances, and "Uncle Cuoi - Sister Hang" scenery, the provincial leaders and teachers congratulated each Mid-Autumn Festival, lantern rides... every child of union members, workers, and laborers was also given gifts (including lanterns and moon cakes).
It is known that the total organization budget is over 120 million VND from the Union's financial resources and socialized sources. This is a practical activity of the Trade Union organization in taking care of the children of union members, workers, and laborers to celebrate the joyful, warm, and safe Mid-Autumn Festival... Thereby contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural traditions, customs, and good practices of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, encourage and motivate children in difficult circumstances to compete in studying and practicing better in the coming time.
