On the evening of October 3, at the An Giang Provincial Labor Culture House, the Provincial Labor Federation (LDLD) coordinated with the Department of Health and the Provincial Youth Union to organize the program "Full Moon Festival Night" for children who are still union members, workers, and laborers in Long Xuyen Ward.
Attending were Mr. Nguyen Huu Ngoc - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Work Committee; Mr. Pham Van Dang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, along with representatives of the Department of Health and the Provincial Youth Union, along with 200 children of union members and workers working and living at Trade Unions and units in Long Xuyen Ward.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tien affirmed that in recent years, along with the attention of all levels, sectors and the support of businesses, the Trade Union organization has always devoted many practical activities to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and children of workers. Today's program is one of the activities that express that affection and sharing".
Mr. Tien also expressed his hope that the children will always be good at being well-educated, good at studying, know how to listen to their grandparents, parents and teachers... so that in the future they can become useful citizens, contributing to building the homeland of An Giang to become more and more beautiful and civilized.
The organizing committee kindly presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to 200 children. Each gift including a cake box and a Mid-Autumn Festival lantern has a total value of over 300,000 VND. In addition, there are also cultural activities, party breakers, etc., bringing children many joyful emotions.
It is known that on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor organized the Full Moon Festival Night Program and presented gifts to 600 children of union members, workers, and laborers in Rach Gia Ward, Long Xuyen Ward and at a number of enterprises in industrial parks.
