On August 21, the Trade Union of Topkey Corporation Co., Ltd. (Top Tay Nam Ward, Ho Chi Minh City - formerly An Tay Ward, Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province) organized a "Union Meal" program for more than 400 workers.
Attending the program, encouraging workers was Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC).
The meal organized by the Trade Union of Topkey Corporation Limited is worth 98,000 VND/meal. Of which, each daily meal is 25,000 VND/meal, the Trade Union supports 50,000 VND/meal and the company supports an additional 23,000 VND/meal.
The meal took place in a sincere and warm atmosphere between workers, businesses and trade unions.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation acknowledged and deeply thanked the Company's Board of Directors for creating conditions for the company's trade union to develop.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat emphasized that the Union Meal is not just a simple meal but also shows the concern of the union organization for union members and workers. Hopefully, the grassroots trade union and the company will coordinate to organize the Union Meal not only once but can increase it to 2-3 times/year to better care for workers.
On this occasion, the company's Board of Directors presented 10 gifts, each worth VND500,000, to 10 workers in difficult circumstances.
In Thoi Hoa ward, XP Power Vietnam Co., Ltd. also organized a "Union Meal" program worth 72,000 VND/meal for nearly 1,000 union members and employees of the Company.
The Southern vegetables have enough nutrients and a rich menu, giving workers a delicious meal. Through the program, it demonstrated the affection and thoughtful care of the grassroots union Executive Committee for union members.
Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation works with Thanh An Commune Party Committee
On August 21, a working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation led by Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation came to work with the Thanh An Commune Party Committee. Receiving the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Huu Chi - Secretary of Thanh An commune, along with representatives of the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huu Chi - Secretary of the Thanh An Commune Party Committee thanked the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation for their attention. At the same time, it is recommended that the City Labor Federation direct the early support and guidance for the establishment of the Thanh An Commune Trade Union according to regulations. Currently, Thanh An commune has not met the criteria, however, regarding space and attraction for businesses and workers, it is possible to soon meet.
Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation acknowledged the recommendations and thanked the leaders of the Party Committee and the Commune Fatherland Front for their attention and close coordination in trade union activities in the coming time.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat, the working session not only contributed to removing difficulties and clearly orienting the key tasks for the establishment of commune trade unions in the coming time, but also contributed to the successful implementation of the political tasks of the trade union organization in the new situation.
