More than 26,000 workers participate in the Union Meal, developing 625 more union members

According to the report of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, from July 15 to August 15, the Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented many outstanding activities, focusing on caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers.

Notable are the Union Meal programs and support for building Union Shelters, affirming the role of the union organization in accompanying workers.

In August, the Provincial Federation of Labor successfully organized the 2025 Trade Union Meal at Ty Xuan Company Limited, with the participation of 21,300 union members, workers and representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Next, the program was also held at the branch of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd., attracting 5,300 union members to participate.

The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions continues to be promoted. The Provincial Federation of Labor has developed 625 new union members and established 3 grassroots unions at YU YUAN VN Company Limited, Vinh Hung Textile Company Limited, and Duyen Hai Wind Power Joint Stock Company.

In addition, the work of caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers has also received attention. The Provincial Federation of Labor has awarded difficult allowances to 30 union members and handed over many "Union Shelters" to union members with difficult housing circumstances.

Trade unions at all levels also coordinated to visit and present gifts to policy families and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

Many other meaningful activities were also organized at grassroots unions, such as giving gifts to 3,200 union members of CY Vina Company Limited, organizing tours for 510 union members of Alliance One Garment Company Limited, and awarding scholarships to 1,504 children of union members and workers at My Phong Leather Shoes Company Limited.

In September, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to implement key activities, including organizing "Union Meals", launching a number of commune and ward unions and planning to establish 4 new grassroots unions.
