From the foundation of the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement that has been maintained effectively for many years, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation is continuing to concretize the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor by widely launching the "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" movement.
With 685 grassroots trade unions and more than 120,600 union members, for many years, the movement "Good labor, creative labor" has become an environment for union members and workers (NLĐ) of An Giang to promote experience, intelligence, boldly improve techniques, rationalize production, apply science and technology and find more effective ways of doing things.
On average, each year, the whole province records nearly 3,500 solutions, initiatives, and scientific topics recognized and applied in practice, with a total benefit value of about 200 billion VND. From hospitals, schools to production and business enterprises, the movement has formed many collectives with effective ways of doing things, regularly maintaining research, initiative, and improvement activities. This is the foundation for the spirit of creativity to become increasingly a part of workers' daily work.
Not only innovating the organization of emulation movements, the Trade Union also links the launching with discovering, fostering, praising and replicating advanced examples, creating motivation for union members and workers to promote intelligence, bravery, and aspirations to contribute, contributing to the goal of rapid and sustainable economic growth in the new period.
In addition to the value of profit, the movement also contributes to forming a team of dynamic, creative workers who are conscious of studying, researching, applying science and technology and gradually adapting to digital transformation requirements.
If previously the focus was on encouraging good labor and creative labor, now the movement sets higher requirements: taking labor productivity, work quality and employee income as a measure of emulation results.
To deepen the movement, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation has issued a Plan to select and commend "Good workers, high productivity, good income" in 2026. Accordingly, the selection is carried out on three groups of criteria, fully reflecting the core values of the movement.
The first group is for union members and workers with typical achievements in labor, production, and work; who have made many contributions to improving productivity, quality, operational efficiency and bringing practical value to agencies, units, and businesses.
The second group targets individuals with initiatives, solutions, technical improvements, production rationalization, scientific research topics or results of application of science, technology, and digital transformation that are effectively applied, creating beneficial value or clear socio-economic efficiency.
The third group is for union members and workers with outstanding achievements that have been recognized with typical titles and awards, and at the same time continue to make outstanding contributions, creating a positive impact, contributing to spreading the spirit of emulation in agencies, units and businesses.
The new point of the selection is that each dossier only selects one most typical achievement as a basis for the proposal for selection. This approach helps the assessment focus on the actual value of the achievement, instead of spreading out or focusing on the number of titles and forms of commendation.
Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Do Tran Thinh - said that the launch of the movement associated with commendation and reward is not only to honor union members and workers with outstanding achievements, but more importantly to create motivation for the emulation movement to spread more and more, go deeper and become a driving force for development in each agency, unit, and enterprise.
Each typical example praised will be a nucleus to spread the spirit of creative labor, inspiring union members and workers to continue to study, research, innovate, improve productivity, quality and efficiency of work; thereby creating many practical values for businesses, for society and contributing to increasing income and improving their own lives," Mr. Do Tran Thinh emphasized.
