On the morning of June 6, at the An Giang Labor Culture House (Long Xuyen ward), the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized an online participation in the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the period 2026-2031 launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor nationwide.
At the An Giang bridge point, the program was attended by Mr. Pham Van Dang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, along with representatives of the Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of the Department of Home Affairs, departments, agencies, branches, unions and more than 200 union members and workers in the province.
The emulation movement was launched to promote the spirit of creativity, responsibility, and striving will of union members and workers; contributing to improving labor productivity, product quality, work efficiency, improving the material, spiritual and income lives of workers, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country in the new period.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Creative Labor Certificates to 6 typical individuals and groups of authors from An Giang with outstanding achievements in labor, research, and application of initiatives in production practice and work.
Also in the program, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized the presentation of gifts to support 23 union members and workers suffering from occupational diseases and serious illnesses in difficult circumstances from the "Gifts of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress" Program.
Previously, during Workers' Month 2026, trade union levels in the province presented 290 gifts to union members and workers facing difficulties due to work accidents, occupational diseases and critical illnesses with a total budget of more than 288 million VND.
After the launching ceremony, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a thematic propaganda conference "Improving digital capacity, digital safety and digital welfare for workers in An Giang province" with the participation of about 160 union members and workers.
The conference aims to equip digital knowledge and skills, improve adaptability to the digital transformation process, and help workers effectively exploit digital platforms to serve work and life.
