The Congress approved the report of the Ward Union Executive Committee to the first Hong Bang Ward Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Hong Bang Ward Trade Union was established under Decision 754/QD-LDLD dated June 30, 2025 of the Standing Committee of Hai Phong City Labor Federation. Currently, the Ward Union monitors and manages 222 grassroots unions with 15,757 union members. The employment situation and income of workers have gradually improved, the average income of workers in the production sector is more than 8 million VND/person/month. Labor relations are basically stable, there are no labor disputes and collective work stoppages.

For the 2025-2030 term, Hong Bang Ward Trade Union closely follows the motto of action "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", focusing on 5 annual targets, 8 full-term targets and 3 breakthrough stages. In particular, strive to develop 300 union members and establish 10 grassroots unions during the new term; at least 80% of enterprises negotiate and sign collective labor agreements (60% of agreements are of type B or higher).
During the term, at least 1,500 union members and workers will benefit from welfare programs; 5 workers will be supported to build new and repair Trade Union Shelters. Ward trade unions also set a target of at least 10 topics being awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 80% of grassroots trade unions deploy the application of digital technology in activities and communication...
The Congress also approved the draft political report, directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term, the report on synthesizing comments on the draft political report submitted to the first City Trade Union Congress and the report on synthesizing comments on the Trade Union Charter (amended and supplemented).
At the congress, the City Labor Federation announced the decision to appoint the Hong Bang Ward Trade Union Executive Committee for the first term of 2025-2030 consisting of 15 comrades and appointed the Standing Committee, the Ward Trade Union Inspection Committee and key positions. Ms. Do Thi Thanh Phuong continues to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Hong Bang Ward Trade Union. The City Labor Federation also appointed a delegation of the Hong Bang Ward Trade Union to attend the first City Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
