On the afternoon of July 6, the Executive Committee of the Hue City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) held a conference to elect additional Executive Committee, Standing Committee and the title of Chairman of the City LĐLĐ term XVI, term 2025 - 2030.
At the conference, the Executive Committee considered the submission introducing Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City - to be additionally elected to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Chairwoman of the City Labor Federation.
As a result of the vote, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan was elected to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee with a rate of 88.88% and was trusted to hold the position of Chairman of Hue City Labor Federation, term XVI, term 2025 - 2030 with a rate of 89.47%.
Speaking to direct, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City emphasized that the implementation of the two-level local government model requires the Trade Union organization to continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation; shifting from administrative thinking to thinking of serving union members and workers, taking the satisfaction of union members as a measure of operational efficiency.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai requested trade union levels to strengthen grasping the situation of employment, income, housing, and working conditions to promptly advise on solving problems arising right from the grassroots level; and at the same time promote digital transformation, build a synchronous union member database, improve management efficiency and provide trade union services.
Speaking to receive the assignment, the new Chairman of Hue City Labor Federation Tran Thi Kim Loan affirmed that she will work with the Executive Committee and Standing Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and build an increasingly strong Trade Union organization; improve the effectiveness of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, contributing to the implementation of the socio-economic development goals of Hue City.
Previously, on July 1, Mr. Le Minh Nhan - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the City Labor Federation - was received and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Department of Culture and Sports.
