On June 22, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation said that in Workers' Month 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Booth Program for workers in 2026, attracting more than 10,000 union members and workers to participate.
At the program, the Organizing Committee arranged 40 booths selling products at preferential prices for workers; printed and issued 5,000 discount shopping vouchers with a total value of 1 billion VND (each voucher worth 200,000 VND) for union members and workers to buy goods at the booths.
The Provincial Labor Federation advised and coordinated to successfully organize the Program "Giving health to workers - For a healthy Vietnam", providing free health check-ups for 3,000 workers in Bac Ninh province.
At the program, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the presentation of gifts from central and Bac Ninh provincial leaders to 128 workers in difficult circumstances; visited and presented gifts to 5 union members with cancer being treated at Bac Ninh Provincial Oncology Hospital.
Responding to the program, ward, commune, and grassroots trade unions have coordinated with employers to organize free health check-ups and care activities with many good and creative ways for over 150,000 union members and workers.
Trade union levels have organized visits and provided support to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 10.1 billion VND, of which the Provincial Labor Federation spent 4.09 billion VND; and presented thousands of gifts to workers in industrial parks, clusters, and businesses.
Mr. Chung said that the highlight in the series of activities of Workers' Month, the program "Thank you workers" in 2026 is that the Provincial Labor Federation advises and organizes delegations of leaders of the General Confederation, Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to directly visit, encourage, and give 4,500 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, and outstanding typical union members in labor production.
One of the key activities in Workers' Month in Bac Ninh province is that trade union levels continue to organize the "Trade Union Meal" program associated with the "Thank you to workers" program.
As a result, 516 grassroots trade unions coordinated with business leaders to organize "Trade Union Meals" for 277,009 union members and workers with a total budget of 18.12 billion VND (of which: deducted from trade union funds 8.19 billion VND; from the support of businesses and companies providing meals 2.65 billion VND; the value of daily meals is 7.28 billion VND); the average meal value is 65,440 VND/person/meal (higher than daily meals).

Some units with over 100 workers, with high meal value, include: Prosper Vietnam Precision Co., Ltd. (404,127 VND), Bac Ninh Traditional Medicine Hospital (300,000 VND), Atum Vina Co., Ltd. (270,000 VND), Bac Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital No. 1 (250,000 VND), Bac Giang Road Joint Stock Company (200,000 VND)...
In addition, cultural and sports activities are concerned and implemented by trade union levels. The Provincial Labor Federation organized the art program "Bac Ninh Trade Union: Innovating thinking - Unleashing creativity - Connecting to reach far" attracting over 2,500 union members and workers to participate;
Organizing tug-of-war, artistic flower arrangement contest, folk dance and sports exchange program; program "Singing for workers to listen to, listening to workers sing"... attracting nearly 10,000 union members and workers to participate.
Many grassroots trade unions coordinate with businesses to organize legal advice, organize art programs, union member welfare booths, workers' cultural festivals, talent search contests, sports congresses, badminton, volleyball, tug of war, chess... with the participation of over 200,000 union members, contributing to improving the spiritual life of workers.
