On April 12, the National Defense Trade Union Board coordinated with Tan Cang Saigon Corporation to organize incense offerings and flowers for heroic martyrs at Ben Duoc Temple, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City and visit, show gratitude, and give gifts to war invalids and relatives of martyrs and meritorious people living and residing in the locality.
Speaking at the program, Colonel Nguyen Van De - Head of the National Defense Trade Union - emphasized: The great Spring Victory of 1975 is a heroic history in the history of building and defending the great country of our nation. We are forever grateful for the borderless sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families with meritorious services to the revolution, youth volunteers, youth volunteers and compatriots and soldiers nationwide.
The Party, State and army always pay special attention and care for the material and spiritual lives of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded, sick soldiers, martyrs' families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution. This is the sacred duty of every Vietnamese child, to honor and express gratitude for their contributions and sacrifices.
On this occasion, the National Defense Trade Union Board coordinated with Tan Cang Saigon Corporation to directly visit and present gifts to 50 war invalids, sick soldiers, 50 families of martyrs, and people with meritorious services in the amount of 2 million VND/person; visit and present gifts to 10 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers with 5 million VND each.
The National Defense Trade Union also visited and presented gifts to 28 union members participating in the parade, parade and service to the 50th anniversary of the complete Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), each person with a gift worth 1 million VND.
The total amount of money that the National Defense Trade Union and Saigon New Port Corporation pay to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, War Invalids, Sick Soldiers, Martyrs' families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution this time is 278 million VND.
