On January 30, An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized a Conference to sign a program to coordinate propaganda on the working class and trade union activities in the period 2026 - 2030 with Lao Dong Newspaper (through the Representative Office in the Mekong Delta region).

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Do Tran Thinh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation - said: In recent years, press agencies have actively coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation, on average each year implementing hundreds of communication products about the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and Trade Union activities, contributing to spreading the image of the An Giang Trade Union organization to union members, workers and the whole society. In which, Lao Dong Newspaper has had a lot of propaganda information, many news articles closely related to the lives of workers and other aspects of the Trade Union at all levels.
Mr. Do Tran Thinh emphasized that coordination with press agencies is a regular task of the Trade Union organization, especially issues directly related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers. In the new period, Mr. Thinh proposed to promote multi-platform communication, targeting young workers who regularly use smartphones. Strengthen the spread of positive information, and at the same time, pay attention to propaganda about labor relations, solutions to retain workers, and support businesses to stabilize production in the context of difficult recruitment.
The Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation also noted the construction of a team of trade union officials to do communication work, so that information is increasingly close to reality and accurately reflects the lives of workers.

Mr. Phan Ngoc Truong Nhan - Deputy Head of Office, in charge of the Representative Office of Lao Dong Newspaper in the Mekong Delta - said: Implementing Program No. 01/CTr-BCH, dated December 29, 2023 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Promoting Trade Union communication work in Vietnam, period 2023 - 2028" and Official Dispatch No. 487/TLĐ-QHLĐ dated September 9, 2025 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Lao Dong Newspaper will provide maximum support to publish information about Trade Union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers with many types of propaganda from print newspapers to electronic and multimedia newspapers; and at the same time wish to receive more information from grassroots trade unions, connect collaborators at the grassroots level to discover many typical factors, replicate many new models, good practices... The Newspaper is also ready to coordinate with the Provincial Labor Federation in training and fostering communication skills for Trade Union officials, strengthening information from the grassroots level.
Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Do Tran Thinh also requested that every year, press agencies, including Lao Dong Newspaper, coordinate with the Provincial Labor Federation to organize preliminary reviews and summaries of Trade Union communication work. At the same time, pay attention to praising and rewarding collectives and individuals who have made many positive contributions, creating a spreading effect in propaganda activities about the Trade Union organization and the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers.
With the consensus and determination of the parties, the communication coordination program for the period 2026 - 2030 is expected to create a clear change in propaganda about the working class and trade union activities of An Giang province on the products of Lao Dong Newspaper, contributing to building an increasingly strong An Giang Trade Union organization.
Also on this occasion, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation also signed a communication coordination agreement with units including: An Giang Newspaper and Radio and Television Station; Vietnam News Agency Resident Office in An Giang.
